LUFiS Update on 22/07/2022
As this academic year ends, I just wanted to send a quick note on behalf of the Levelling Up Futures (LUFiS) Team – Katie, Graham and I to say thank you, update on outcomes and share next steps.
Progress to date

Student and Employer engagement
- Students involved: 2,376
- Employers engaged: 152
- Employees engaged: 264
- Highlights from Student Feedback – 59 responses
- 88% believe that talking to people from business has helped them to understand their career options
- 94% of pupils believe that talking to people from business has helped them to develop the skills they need to achieve their career goals
- 82% of pupils aware of the skills that they require for the future
- 90% of pupils positive about their career prospects and the opportunities available to them
Next Steps
In September we will be working with the schools/colleges to understand their requirements and will send further opportunities to get involved to you as soon as they are firmed.
We are also planning to host a LUFiS event in December bringing employer volunteers, teachers, and students together to celebrate our success.
